Governance - Assistance with governance issues eg setting up a board of trustees performance review system

Policies - Devising a set of policies and procedures for a small charity

Evaluation - Evaluating grant-funded projects which may include desk research, telephone and face-to-face interviews, facilitating focus groups and writing the final report

Fundraising - Preparation of fundraising strategies and reviews

Funding Applications - Guidance on writing funding applications to statutory, trust and corporate bodies

Advice on Standards - Member of the working party which produced a pocket version of the Fundraising National Occupational Standards (NOS)

Reports - Researching and writing end of project reports/reviews for grant funded projects

Publications - Writing the 'Running Your Group' chapter of 'The Really Useful Stuff Handbook' providing practical advice to local voluntary and community groups, as well as co-authoring 'The Grant Funding Handbook', a step by step guide to applying for funding

Marketing - Critically analysing draft publicity leaflets and giving constructive feedback

Designing and delivery of In-house/bespoke training courses tailored to clients' requirements

Designing and writing course materials and workbooks for delivery by a client's staff

Undertaking assessment of Open College Network (OCN) qualifications

Facilitation for staff/trustee 'away days' and review meetings
