Mike Holmes BA(Hons) MBCS

Mike has worked as a highly successful self-employed computer and IT consultant since 1992. Prior to this he gained substantial computing experience and computing project management within the financial services and public sectors.

He provides a range of services including system design, installation and on-going support.

He has a portfolio of clients across the country including charities, organisations in marketing, finance, publishing and health services. Increasingly Mike also provides support to home-based workers. Clients have praised his clarity in explaining complex computing issues.

Mike has a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Open University, and is a Member of the British Computer Society.

When he can be dragged away from his computer, and he does not have his nose in a book, Mike can be found directing plays with St Hugh's Players, a church-based drama group. In recent years he has adapted and directed some classic stories including "A Christmas Carol", "The Wind in the Willows", "Around the World in 80 Days" and most recently a play about the famous Hull flyer, Amy Johnson, which was performed at the Lincoln Drill Hall, a new community arts venue in early 2005. Mike is currently planning a number of productions for 2011 - more details to follow.
